He has also assumed leadership roles in front-end detailed engineering for both process and utility/offsite, including complete system designs of tank farms, flare systems, cooling water, boiler, air, nitrogen and fire protection, including deluge, foam and wastewater systems. He earned a BS degree in chemical engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander, B/manga, Colombia, and an MS in chemical engineering from Manhattan College in New York City.
