Brandl, D.
Dennis Brandl is president of BR&L Consulting and has been involved in automation system design and implementation in a wide range of control systems over the past 35 years. His experience includes control system design for Shell Oil refineries, chemical plants, pharmaceutical facilities, steel mills, mining and next-generation control system design with ExxonMobil. Mr. Brandl was a founder of the ISA’s ISA 95 Enterprise/Control System Integration committee and is the chairman of the IEC/ISO Joint Working Group on Enterprise/Control Integration, IEC 62264. He earned a BS degree in physics and an MS degree in measurement and control from Carnegie-Mellon University, and an MS degree in computer science from California State University.
