Mike Seymour is an independent engineering consultant, a chartered engineer, a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a listed European engineer. He has spent almost his entire career undertaking engineering oil and gas industry research for BP and British Gas. He is a visiting professor of mechanical engineering at De Montfort University, an industrial Fellow at the University of Nottingham and a professional development consultant for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
