Refineries and petrochemical plants form some of the major sections of the hydrocarbon industry and consume much of the fuel that is burned in furnaces (heaters and specialty furnaces, such as reformers and crackers) to meet process heating requirements.

Jagdeep Singh is the Deputy General Manager of the cost engineering department for Engineers India Ltd. He has 20 yr of experience in costing estimates for refinery and petrochemical plants. He earned his degree in electronics and instrumentation engineering at TIET (Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology) in Patiala, India.
Mr. Ashutosh is Manager of fired equipment for Engineers India Ltd. He has 10 yr of experience in design and execution of furnaces, with a background in construction work. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur), India.
