FMC picks design firm CH2M HILL for engineering on Wyoming soda ash expansion
Construction and design firm CH2M HILL said Thursday that it was selected by FMC Corp. to provide engineering and procurement services for FMC's soda ash expansion in Granger, Wyoming.
Phase I design of the project began in May 2011. Phase II, upon approval of FMC's board of directors, will more than double the Granger plant capacity and has a target completion date of late 2013 to early 2014.
"FMC selected CH2M HILL for this project due to our long history of working together and our confidence in CH2M HILL based on the company's performance on past projects," said Dan Moulden, FMC project manager.
Michael Blois, CH2M HILL's vice president for mining and minerals, said, "We are very pleased to have been selected for this important project by FMC. Our teams have an excellent collaboration history and we look forward to another successful project."
