Alfa Laval wins order to supply heat exchangers for Saudi gas processing plant
Swiss-based Alfa Laval - a global provider of heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling products - has won an order from a Korean engineering company to supply heat exchangers for a natural gas project in Saudi Arabia.
The order value is worth approximately SEK 80 million ($11.9 million). Delivery is scheduled for 2013.
The Alfa Laval heat exchangers will be used in a new major gas processing facility in Saudi Arabia where they will be recovering energy in the gas cleaning process, bringing down power consumption and CO2 emissions, according to the company.
Alfa Laval has a strong position in the oil and gas markets and has delivered reliable products and solutions for the demanding gas cleaning processes for many years, said Lars Renström, CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
This order is also a direct result of our strong presence both in Korea and Saudi Arabia.
