NRI wins American Bureau of Shipping approval on pipeline repair systems
US-based pipeline repair and rehabiliation solutions company NRI this week received approval from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for the company's Syntho-Glass XT, Viper-Skin, and Thermo-Wrap composite systems.
The ABS is responsible for the classification and verification of marine vessels and offshore structures for compliance to rules and regulations for the design and construction, along with a periodic survey.
Over the past year, NRI completed the ABS procedure process, which includes the application, evaluation and assessment, to the final Type Approval certification.
With over 30 years of composite manufacturing and pipe repair experience, NRI describes itself as an ISO 9001 registered company with a commitment to clients.
