LyondellBasell sells Argentine PP group Petroken

LyondellBasell today announced the completion of the sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary Petroken Petroquimica Ensenada S.A. (Petroken) to Grupo Inversor Petroquímica S.L. (GIP) for $184 million. 

Petroken operates a 180,000-tpy plant in Ensenada and is a leading polypropylene (PP) producer in Argentina.

The agreement to sell Petroken was first announced in August 2015.
