Japan's Eneos shuts 77,000-bpd Kawasaki No.3 CDU for maintenance

Japan's biggest refiner, Eneos Corp, has shut the 77,000 barrel-per-day No. 3 crude distillation unit at its Kawasaki refinery, near Tokyo, on August 9 for scheduled maintenance, a company spokesperson said.

The refiner, a unit of Eneos Holdings, expects to restart the unit in late November, the spokesperson said.

The timing for restarting the 141,000-bpd CDU at its Sakai refinery in western Japan, which was shut on May 16 for scheduled maintenance, is still under discussion due to the impact of an accident, she added.
