CB&I announces multi-technology award in Uzbekistan
THE WOODLANDS, Texas — CB&I announced it has been awarded a technology contract by Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex LLC (SGCC) for a grassroots ethylene complex to be built in southern Uzbekistan. The scope of work includes the license and basic engineering of an ethylene unit, which will use four proprietary SRT heaters, a Hexene-1 unit and a polypropylene unit.
Shell signs biofuel technology agreement with SBI BioEnergy Inc.
CALGARY — Royal Dutch Shell plc, through its subsidiary Shell International Exploration and Production B.V., and SBI BioEnergy Inc. have reached an agreement granting Shell exclusive development and licensing rights for SBI's biofuel technology.
Metso signs distribution agreement with Process Control Equipment
Metso has signed a distribution agreement for its valve products with Process Control Equipment (PCE) to cover UK, Benelux and Spain. Under the non-exclusive agreement, PCE will add to its current portfolio of Metso's Neles and Jamesbury product families for all process industries in all countries. PCE has been distributing Metso's Jamesbury valves in the UK since 2012.
