Air Products to supply LNG heat exchangers for Maryland liquefaction plant
Air Products will supply its LNG proprietary C3MR liquefaction technology and equipment to a joint venture of IHI E&C International and Kiewit. It will be installed at Dominion's major liquefaction project, to be constructed at the site of Dominion's existing Cove Point LNG import terminal in Maryland.
Two fuel barges explode in Alabama; three injured

Woodside Petroleum CEO Peter Coleman doesn't see any major softening in LNG demand as buyers anticipate future supply increases from North America and East Africa. Demand for LNG is "very strong, particularly for spot cargoes and we expect that demand to maintain strength [in coming years]," he said.

Praxair to supply planned NWR refinery in Alberta with new air separation unit
The North West Redwater refinery is scheduled to start up in 2016. The NWR gasification process will consume oxygen to produce hydrogen, which is used to upgrade bitumen into diesel and other higher value hydrocarbon products. Initially, the refinery will convert 50,000 bpd of bitumen.

Praxair opens largest Bahrain air separation plant
Praxair's plant has the capacity to produce 350 tpd of oxygen, making it the largest air separation unit in Bahrain. The air separation unit will also produce liquid nitrogen, oxygen and argon to supply a diverse group of customers in the regional merchant market, including refineries and chemical plants.
