The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has agreed to provide a €60-MM loan to Lan-Oil LLC, a company established by fuel retailer OKKO Group in Ukraine, for the construction of a greenfield biofuels project.
The project aims to produce bioethanol in line with the EU Renewable Energy Directive (RED III), supporting energy source diversification in Ukraine. Sponsored by JSC Concern Galnaftogaz, a transportation fuels distributor and part of OKKO, the initiative aligns with the country's renewable energy goals.
