Morgan Fuels & Lubes achieves approval under the renewable fuels assurance scheme

Morgan Fuels & Lubes Ltd has achieved approval under the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme (RFAS), reinforcing its commitment to providing customers across the UK and Northern Ireland with assured, traceable and independently verified renewable fuel solutions.

Approved under reference number MG/P83/26, Morgan Fuels & Lubes is now recognized as an approved Renewable Fuel Supplier under the RFAS, an independently managed scheme operated by the Zemo Partnership that verifies renewable fuel supply chains, product provenance, compliance and greenhouse gas emissions reporting. The RFAS is designed to provide businesses with confidence in the renewable fuels they purchase, while supporting accurate carbon reporting through verified supply-chain data.

The approval strengthens the company’s renewable fuel offering and demonstrates its commitment to the highest standards of transparency, traceability and governance within the renewable fuels sector.

As businesses across transport, construction, manufacturing, logistics and agriculture face increasing sustainability, reporting and governance requirements, demand continues to grow for renewable fuel solutions that are supported by robust compliance frameworks and independent assurance.

As an RFAS-approved supplier, Morgan Fuels & Lubes can supply RFAS Approved Fuel, including Renewable Diesel (HVO) with 100% renewable fuel content, backed by the assurance, traceability and verification requirements of the scheme.

The Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme works alongside the UK’s Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) and provides businesses with confidence that renewable fuels are sourced and supplied through verified, traceable supply chains. Customers can receive renewable fuel supply-chain-specific greenhouse gas emissions data, helping support accurate carbon reporting and informed sustainability decision-making.

Achieving RFAS approval places Morgan Fuels & Lubes among a select group of suppliers able to meet the scheme’s rigorous requirements, including independent auditing, supply chain verification and ongoing compliance monitoring.

For customers, this means greater confidence in the provenance of the fuels they purchase, supporting internal governance requirements, ESG reporting and sustainability objectives.

Morgan Fuels & Lubes supplies customers across a range of industries throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, including transport, logistics, construction, manufacturing and agriculture.

As organizations seek practical pathways towards decarbonization, renewable fuels such as HVO continue to offer an effective solution that can typically be adopted without significant investment in new vehicles or infrastructure.

Through its RFAS-approved fuel offering, Morgan Fuels & Lubes provides customers with renewable fuel solutions that combine operational reliability with independently assured sustainability credentials, helping organizations make informed decisions with confidence.

The RFAS approval represents another important step in Morgan Fuels & Lubes’ continued investment in innovative fuel solutions and customer support.

The company remains committed to helping customers navigate the evolving energy landscape with reliable supply, expert guidance and renewable fuel solutions underpinned by transparency, compliance and trusted industry standards.

“To become one of only three RFAS-approved suppliers in Northern Ireland is something we’re incredibly proud of. As demand for renewable fuels continues to grow, customers want more than just fuel supply — they want confidence, transparency and assurance.

RFAS approval provides that assurance and further strengthens our position as a trusted partner for businesses looking to adopt lower-carbon fuel solutions without compromising operational performance.

We see this as an important step not only for Morgan Fuels & Lubes, but also for supporting the continued growth and adoption of renewable fuels across the UK, and Northern Ireland,” said Michael Morgan, Sales Director, Morgan Fuels & Lubes Ltd.
