Dow completes construction of ethylene production site in Texas
FREEPORT, Texas – The Dow Chemical Company announced the completion of the construction phase of its new ethylene production facility in Freeport, Texas. The Company reached this milestone within one week of the originally planned date, which was set approximately two years ago. Dow’s ethylene unit is now progressing through the commissioning phase, with start-up expected by mid-year.
Neste Jacobs technology to be implemented at Haltermann Carless German site
Neste Jacobs, a global provider of technology, engineering and project services and Haltermann Carless, an HCS Group brand and provider of specialty hydrocarbons, have agreed to plan and engineer an upgrade and expansion of the Haltermann Carless' production site in Speyer, Germany. The parties have also signed a Letter of Intent for the EPCM services to be provided by Neste Jacobs.
