Fluor, NAEP awarded mine construction contract at Canada oil sands
North American Energy Partners (NAEP) has been awarded a $127 million heavy civil construction contract with Fluor Canada at Syncrude’s Base Mine. The new contract at Syncrude is the first of several large construction contracts to be let relating to the mine train relocations at Syncrude's Base and Aurora Mines.

Technip wins design deal for Qatargas refinery expansion
Technip has won the design contract for a capacity-doubling expansion of Qatargas’ Laffan condensate refinery, officials said on Friday. France-based Technip will design facilities to raise output to 292,000 bpd, up from 146,000 bpd. The value of the front-end engineering and design deal was not disclosed.
