WorleyParsons wins FEED work for expansion of Singapore LNG terminal
The expansion plans include the installation of additional facilities to increase the terminal’s capacity from its current 6 million tpy throughput to a new annual capacity of 9 million tpy, as well as the construction of a fourth tank. The design will also explore possible future expansions.
CB&I to build Esso Australia gas conditioning plant
CB&I’s work scope includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction of the Longford gas conditioning plant, which is designed to handle 400 million cubic feet/day of gas from the Kipper, Tuna and Turrum fields in Bass Strait. The deal is worth about $550 million.
BASF taps Technip, Asahi Kasei for expansion work on German chlorine plant
The work will include a membrane chlorine plant expansion as well as the integration and implementation of existing equipment and facilities. Technip will be responsible for the complete EPC execution of the project, using Asahi Kasei Chemicals' technology and proprietary equipment.
KBC inks multi-year consulting, software contract with Ecuador refinery
As part of the contract, EP PETROECUADOR will take a five-year license for KBC's process and energy modelling software tools, including the full Petro-SIM suite, to optimize the operation of the refinery. KBC says it will work with EP to improve its core work processes and support systems.
Petronas picks Toyo for revamp project at Malaysia gas processing complex
Toyo is slated to provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning with a turnkey contract for expanding the plant's life by another 20 years. Foster Wheeler wins Norway FEED work for Statoil gas processing plants
The frame agreement includes an option for Statoil to extend the agreement for a further two years and for Foster Wheeler to execute concept studies as well as FEEDs. The value of the agreement was not disclosed, as bookings will be recorded as work is released by Statoil.
