Stamicarbon urea tech licensed to Bodashidi in China
Stamicarbon, the licensing and IP Center of Maire Tecnimont S.p.A., has signed a license agreement with Inner Mongolia Bodashidi Co., Ltd. in China for a urea plant with a capacity of 2860 mtpd. The plant will be built in the industrial zone of Nalinriver, Wushen, Inner Mongolia, China.
HIMA's safety system passes Shell's assessment test
Shell recently performed comprehensive assessment tests of the HIMax safety system from HIMA Paul Hildebrandt GmbH + Co KG. With successful completion of the tests, HIMax can be used worldwide in the oil company's future projects, without additional evaluations.

Chevron’s budget for next year is $26 billion
Chevron has announced a $26 billion capital and exploratory spending program for 2011. Included in the 2011 program are $2 billion of expenditures by affiliates, which do not require cash outlays by Chevron. Acquisition costs associated with the recently announced purchase of Atlas Energy are not included.
Shaw to help engineer a new ethylene plant in India
The Shaw Group Inc. has been selected by GAIL (India) to provide its proprietary technology and basic engineering for a new 450,000 tpy ethylene plant. Shaw also will provide support during detailed engineering, procurement and construction, and commissioning and startup of the plant, which will be part of GAIL's petrochemical complex in Pata, Uttar Pradesh, India.
