U.S. to finalize 2026 biofuel quotas by early March, drop import penalties
If finalized, the plan would mark a partial compromise between rival oil and farm industry groups by preserving increased blending targets sought by biofuel producers while dropping a proposal that U.S. refiners had warned would disrupt fuel markets and raise costs.

Update: Indonesia scraps plan to introduce B50 biodiesel this year, will raise palm oil export levy
Indonesia had planned to launch the B50 grade - a blend of 50% palm oil-based biodiesel and 50% conventional diesel - in the second half of this year.
Indonesia launch of B50 biodiesel depends on crude oil, palm oil prices
Indonesia, the world's largest producer of palm oil, previously said it would start its B50 mandate, which requires a 50-50 blend of palm-based fuel and diesel, in the second half of 2026. The current mandate calls for biodiesel that is 40% palm-based.
