DNV awards HD Hyundai Mipo an AiP for ammonia dual-fuel medium gas carrier with forward accommodation
The vessel concept relocates the crew accommodation block to the fore section, providing new flexibility and additional useable space on board - enabling the application of environmentally friendly technologies, such as carbon capture and storage units, alternative fuels, or other energy efficiency or emissions reduction solutions.

Consortium receives AiP for floating ammonia cracker unit
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd., HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. announced that the Approval in Principle (AiP) was granted from Lloyd's Register for a floating ammonia cracker unit (FACU), jointly developed by the group for onshore hydrogen supply.
