Egypt freezes talks on importing LNG from Qatar amid political tensions
Cash-strapped Egypt has frozen talks to import liquefied natural gas from wealthy Qatar due to the political instability and violence that erupted after the army swept the streets of the supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi last week, a leading official said Monday.
Taiwan sees rising crude oil imports, falling LNG
The country's two refiners, government-owned CPC Corp. and privately run Formosa Petrochemical, refined a combined 3.76 million kiloliters of crude oil, up 4.26% from a year earlier, the bureau said in a monthly report.
