Despite the year-over-year increase, 2017 marks the second-lowest price ahead of the Memorial Day weekend since 2009, when the national average price of retail regular gasoline was $2.31/gal.
Nigeria seen missing July target to buy cleaner fuel
LONDON (Reuters) — Nigeria's state-run oil company will keep buying cheaper, lower-quality gasoline for now because the government has yet to circulate new rules forcing a switch by July to cleaner fuels with less sulfur content, trading sources said on Tuesday.
